Board game:Ranger Commandos

Parker Brothers produced the strategy game Ranger Commandos in 1942, during the height of World War II. An early strategy game, Ranger Commandos mimics an actual commando mission with warnings, mission, and escape modes of play. Playing pieces include miniature wooden anphibious vehicles, similar in design to the large vessels used to land at Normandy. The box top graphic demonstrates Parker Brothers artwork at its wartime best.
