Many game manufacturers produced versions of race-style games, all of which descend from the Game of Goose. The Goose game is considered the earliest race game which originated in Egypt or Asia and then developed further in Europe. American game manufacturers made versions of Goose but they also produced similar games under different names. J.H. Singer's "Snake Game" is just one example.
