Board game:Stratego

Milton Bradley's board game Stratego began as the very similar French game L'attaque, in 1909. The modern Stratego first appeared in the Netherlands, manufactured by Jumbo. Milton Bradley secured the American copyright in 1960 and began manufacturing the game. While several box cover designs seem to date from this early period, this particular one may be the first Milton Bradley example.
