The manufacturer Resource Games produced educational games during the 1980s and 1990s. The firm's travel and geography game Take Off! contained a Merkator projection-style world map with Hawaii at each end. Players raced to see who could get their plane, or fleet of planes, across the entire globe first. The map and movement cards contain detailed information on each country and capital in existance at the time of manufacture. Special rules for advanced players brought these additional details into the play.
