Board game:The Game of Tit Tat Toe Improved

The game today known as Tic-Tac-Toe is also called Naughts and Crosses in the U.K. It was once recognized as Tit-tat-toe as well. Experts believe this game is centuries old. The Parker Brothers "improved" version from 1896 allows players just three marking pieces each, so spaces are freed when a piece moves out of them. Thus the game probably lasted longer.
