Anagrams and word games have existed since the mid-nineteenth century. Often they serve as spelling aids for smaller children. With the evolution of Bingo, also known as Lotto, versions for younger children also appeared. The House We Live In Lotto is one such game. It works like a bingo game but instead of number and letter matching, pictures of household items are matched on the playing boards. The graphics are quite typical of the 1940s.
