In 'Bodyline' choreographer Graeme Watson researches the possibilities and boundaries of the body. Is the line of the body really a boundary? Or is it possible to move in certain ways to create the suggestion of the body, resolving into the space. The women emphasize the boundaries of their body with strong and defiant movement. Whatson was inspired by the painting ’The three Graces’ in Pompeii. The hands are stroking the body. The fast movement makes it difficult to distinguish the bodies of the two male and the female dancers, or to figure out what body part belongs to which dancer.
