Bongcheon Gomyung

Gomyeong, Imperial Order for Official Appointments
These three documents written in the Manchu language are all categorized as gomyeong, which was a Qing Dynasty document for appointing an official issued in the name of the Emperor when investing someone with a title of nobility higher than the fifth rank or with a hereditary title, either before or after one’s death.
