Emerald green lightweight silk calash bonnet is hand-stitched, has 6 collapsible ruffles, a pair of neck-ties for the front closure, and an inner drawstring on the back of the neck. There is a bow-tie decorating the back of the bonnet. There does appear to be some wear to the bonnet, as some of the fabric is worn through on the inside, possibly due to moth damage. The outside is in better shape with some worn spots on the straw caning. It measures 14" from the back of the bonnet to the face opening.
