Top and bottom passementerie borders printed on a striped sidewall paper. Printed in green flock and overprinted with brighter green, the top border is formed by intertwined lace or ribbon, forming sharp angles, with pendent tassels. Above this is a wider band of gimp or fancy ribbon. The bottom border is composed of the same lace or ribbon forming sharp diamond shapes. Within the diamond framework is a rosette. Between the diamond shapes is a patera within a rectangular framework. The sidewall is bands of stripes, alternating wide and narrow.
