- Object Notes(japanese): 口の小さないわゆる「梅瓶（めいぴん）」の下半分を断ち切ったようなこうした瓶は、俗に「太白尊（たいはくそん）」あるいは「吐魯瓶（とろぴん）」と呼ばれています。白磁の胎土に鉄泥を掛け、文様の背景部分を掻き落としています。結果として鉄泥による褐色の牡丹唐草文が白磁の中に浮かび上がっています。こうした技法は、定窯白磁に磁州窯の装飾技法が応用されたものといえ、定窯でも珍しい作品です。中国国家博物館には類似の技法で金の「皇統三年（1143）置」銘の墨書のある枕があることから、こうした技法が金代のものである可能性があります。
