"The dressing table is a kind of furniture used for women personal care. Is structure, a table with a mirror, drawers and also little drawers that let to keep in little personal object.

The dressing table stylistically has a neoclassical shape, inspired in the French Louis XVI style.

It could be a Catalan manufactured piece, due to the quality of the production and the taste to combine different decorative techniques as plated and also gold and marble finish work. In any case the presence of a Spanish desk of cards among other decoration patterns reinforces the idea that it is not a foreign object."

The numerous ornamental motifs mainly related to the love topic make think that it could be the result of an order for a wedding present.
