Bowl and vase with flowers, fruit and vegetables in open-air

The oil canvas, attributed to Rachel Ruysch, shows a rich composition of flowers, leaves, fruit, vegetables and vases (one in white ceramic with blue decorations and one in glass) "en plein air". The vegetables are depicted with documentary realism and keen botanical attention. At the bottom, on the left, there's a partial view of the sky with scattered clouds. The rendering of the pumpkin in the center, the mushrooms, the two hazel-nuts, the salad stump and the grapes is incredibly realistic and the roses on the left appear extraordinarily elegant and rich.
