Bowl raised from a single sheet of silver, parcel-gilt. On the inside, as a medallion, a gilt, sixteen-leaf star on a dotted background. The back row of leaves is beaded but without any indication of ribs. The calyx was very cursorily worked. Framing 'endless' ivy and blossom tendril. Tendril frieze and background are gilt. A gilt strip runs beneath the lip. Undecorated exterior.
