Bowl raised from a single sheet of silver, parcel-gilt. Decorated with a medallion inside, an eight-leaf lanceolate ivy calyx that develops out of an eight-leaf 'nymphaea calyx'. The edges of the leaves are beaded and the leaves themselves are gilt. The ornament is framed by a gilt wave meander. The gold leaf is not carefully cleaned according to the contours of the ornaments. Beneath the lip there is a gilded 'Achaemenid stepped battlement frieze'. Undecorated exterior.
