This black and white service was exhibited at the 11th Milan Triennial as part of the interior with which the SIO group represented Yugoslavia at the show. Designer and architect Bernardo Bernardi gives this service as an example of good design. It was also shown at the 2nd ZagrebTriennial in 1959. Marta Šribar graduated from the Academy of Applied Art in Zagreb in 1955, and joined the design section of Jugokeramika in 1957. She authored many Jugokeramika services, all of which show the devotion of this artist to pure geometrical form and minimal decoration.
