The Khalili Collections

The pyramidal bezel covering the clasp was once set with a stone, now missing; to either side is the figure of a crouching lion with long curling tail. The hoop has dragons'-head terminals. It was originally set with two stones in high collets, but one collet and both stones are now missing. The hoop bears benedictory inscriptions in cursive script, and the underside of the bezel has a lozenge filled with the name 'Ali four time in seal Kufic.
