The single vellum leaf is painted on the recto with an episode from the story of Brennus (referenced in the work of Livy) commander of a Gallic tribe known as the Senones, who sacked and defeated Rome in 387 BC.
The verso is painted with Neptune in his chariot pulled by two horses.
