STS-115 Commander Brent Jett introduces his crew to waiting media at KSC's Shuttle Landing Facility after their arrival from Houston. At right is Mission Specialist Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper. The STS-115 crew has flown to NASA's Kennedy Space Center to take part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities. The TCDT is a pre-launch preparation that includes practicing emergency egress from the pad, driving an M-113 armored personnel carrier, and simulating the launch countdown.
