Gilded saint's crown from the Middelfart hoard, found 1933 in a house in Middelfart, Funen. Largest diameter of crown 26 cm. Probably made in Northern Germany c. 1520 for a wooden sculpture of a saint. In addition the crown was probably used by brides at their wedding ceremony.
