This wide brimmed hat with a flat crown tip is built up from brown, lacquered strips of sewn bast. The brim falls asymmetrically in front of the face. A wide satin ribbon tied into a back bow just beneath the brim likewise covers the crown. A branch of green and brown paper and plastic flowers lends a colourful accent.
