Buckle and belt-end of a girdle, silver, silver gilt. The buckle is formed of a naturalistic lopped bough arising from swinging foliated branches.It is hinged to a buckle-plate whose upper side is formed of lopped boughs and foliated stems cast and applied as openwork above a silver plate with turned up rims, with a corded edge. The belt-end is formed with foliated cast scrolling stems in a similar manner, and the base is engraved with a floral scroll of rosettes and foliage, with a similar cast edge and with a hoop at the end.
