Bull Sharks (Carcharhinus leucas) are commonly encountered in coastal waters and freshwater rivers in tropical to subtropical areas worldwide. They are opportunistic feeders on a wide range of fishes, birds and mammals. They are one of the more dangerous sharks, and are responsible for numerous attacks on humans.
