This 14-year-old boy, laid to rest in one of the first known burial sites, is among the oldest representative of our kind, Homo sapiens sapiens. Like the others interred with him, he had modern facial features, including a chin, a high forehead, and delicate eyebrow ridges. His body proportions were also similar to those of most of the modern population today.
