The engraving shows the "Burning Mountain" in Dudweiler based on a drawing of Georg Arnould. The "Burning Mountain" was a well-known attraction beyond the region. After his visit in 1770, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe immortalised it in his work "Dichtung und Wahrheit. (Poetry and Truth) Part Two" from 1812.
