Consists of a wooden handle and an iron head. The handle is elliptical in section. The head is parallelepiped; one of the striking areas has a grid of small square-based pyramids. The other is flat.
This is a bush-hammer. It was used in stonework to chip at walls to give them the desired finish. It was also used to remove plaster.
It comes from the town of Navascués / Nabaskoze (Navarre) and belongs to the Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa's X. Otero collection.
