Bustard Head is about 20 kilometres northwest of Seventeen Seventy, in Queensland, within the Eurimbula National Park and locality of Eurimbula. The lightstation was established in 1868 and is the second oldest in the state. Over the years a number of tragedies have befallen those who live there through drowning, suicide and murder.
