This issue of the French film magazine is heavily focused on the 2004 Cannes Film Festival, with a special section dedicated to it. The magazine includes a preview of the festival's selection, highlighting trends in the 2004 lineup, including an exploration of films from Latin America and Asia, with an emphasis on auteur cinema, as well as several articles about individual films in competition, including *La Mauvaise Education*, *Notre Musique*, *2046* and *La Femme est l'avenir de l'homme*. There are also sections focusing on the films and works of Pedro Almodovar, Jean-Luc Godard and Hong Sang-soo. Beyond Cannes, the magazine addresses the impact of online cinema, critiques recent American films, and includes essays on Antonioni, Rancière and Antonioni, as well as a long-form, reflective letter from a film studies graduate. The issue also has sections dedicated to new DVDs as well as current films being shown at the cinema, a conversation with the director Kiyoshi Kurosawa and an interview with Pedro Almodovar about his latest film. Finally, articles on Samuel Fuller and an in-depth piece about the film *Oh, Uomo* are featured.
