“I hope Hillary [Clinton] wins the Presidential seat, not [Donald] Trump. Hillary has more experience. Trump has never been in Congress or held a Senator seat. Just because he is a billionaire, doesn’t mean he should become president, but he still could. I am just hoping Hillary wins. There is a lot of things he is saying that Alaskan’s don’t want. Hilary is pretty good. I wish [U.S. Senator of Alaska Lisa] Murkowski could be President! [Senator] Lisa Murkowski, she really helps Alaskans, like [Congressman] Don Young. He is still there and he is still helping us. I vote for him every time too. I am part of the City Council, going on three years. This year is probably going to be my last year though. I want to do some things, and I want to travel around.
My parents camp all year long. My step-dad is camping, and my mom comes back here before it freezes up. I miss it. I used to do that. I like to camp alone though. Sometimes when they come back here, I would like to go down to camp. I have lived here for 46 years. We lived in Anchorage for a little while, when my dad worked on the [Alyeska] pipeline. That was in the early 1970’s.” — Caldon Stone is Inupiaq and lives in Noorvik, Alaska.
