The braincase is located at the back of the skull, the large hole is where the spinal nerves exit the brain and head towards the body. This braincase is from an adult Camarasaurus. Despite being nearly 60 feet long and weighing in at 20 tons, the brain was miniscule - only as big as a large walnut.
