This capital has its four sides decorated with winged monsters facing each other and joined at the head, set at the angles in the place that on a classical capital would correspond to the volutes. The wings and the tails of these monsters are intertwined and describe a beautiful pattern of curves and countercurves that fill the four sides of the capital with rhythm.
