Card deck:Colossal Playing Cards

Novelty card decks, through the years, feature famous characters and unusual designs. At first glance this deck seems standard. However, the box reads "Colossal Playing Cards." These cards measure about 12 inches tall by 8 inches wide! This large deck could indeed be used for gaming; but it is more likely a simple novelty or gag gift. During the 2010 induction of playing cards into the National Toy Hall of Fame at the Strong, cards this size were used so that the reporters' cameras could see them easily.
