Card game:Cards Against Humanity: A party game for horrible people

The game Cards Against Humanity officially went live on the funding website Kickstarter December 1, 2010. Best described as an adult-themed version of the classic Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity makes no apologies for its inherent bad taste and political incorrectness, billing itself as "a party game for horrible people." From the beginning, would-be game players were allowed to download the game for free (for their use only) and create their own versions of cards, and it is thus available under a creative commons license. It is available online, but not at any major retail locations as its creators felt this might cheapen the brand. Begun by a group of high school friends, the game has since earned them millions of dollars. Among various other antics the makers actually increased its price by $5 during an "anti-sale" on black Friday 2013, and sales actually increased. They have also earmarked entire subsequent editions of the game for various charities, and subsequently this philanthropy brought them acclaim.
