Card game:Charge It!

Whitman's Charge It! card game, first published in 1972, was a humorous, harmless game in which players attempt to be the first to charge $50,000 on their fake credit cards. The credit excesses in the decades that followed probably contributed to the game's demise. Racking up a huge debt wasn't really a joke anymore.
