Domino sets date from early times; the first sets date from the 12th century. Paper versions have always been popular, because they were cheap to produce. This was especially true during the latter half of the nineteenth century, when paper was abundant and games became more and more popular. E.I. Horseman of New York made this paper domino set, which has 46 cards.
