Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, Mexico

According to the first interpretations the carvings on the fossil bones represents the struggles between two characters being guarded by imaginative animals with warrior heads that are offered up to them. The one on the left has marine type attributes because wind and water symbols are present and there appears to be a reptile-fish that seems to be floating. The one on right with terrestrial type attributes open its mouth like and sits on a crack on the earth´s surface. The two dynasties of the coastal or aquatic and the terrestrial ones confront each other. The representative from the aquatic ones surrendered to the terrestrial ones. The two priests remain as spectators.
