The Naumburg Cathedral Garden is adjoined to the southwest of the cathedral in a spacious area – an area of almost one hectare full of trees with paths and waterways invites visitors to stroll and linger.
The cathedral garden, not open to the public until June 2011, combines old ponds, the bastions of the medieval immunity wall and the gardens of the former canons' houses.
Thus, in harmony with the complete redesign of the Cathedral Garden, a relaxing and harmonious ambience was created, which harmoniously embeds the Cathedral into its surroundings.
