The locomotive featured on the stamp issued on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of the Indian Railways on 16th April 1953 is a WP/P manufactured by Baldwin Locomotive Works, Philadelphia. It was one of the 16 prototypes imported from USA before regular production started in India. One of these locos (WP/P 7200) still survives and hauls steam trains on special occasions. A WP No. 7656 is exhibited at the Zonal Training Centre, Jhansi. The other locomotive on this stamp is the Fairy Queen.
