The Chalice was made by Panagos and represents the Eastern tradition that considerably influenced church silverware during the 16th and 17th centuries. Its main characteristics are the floral and geometrical interlacing and the setting of the coloured glass stones. The calyx bears depictions of prophets worked in niello.

- Περιγραφή: Το Ποτήριο εκφράζει αντιπροσωπευτικά την ανατολική παράδοση που επηρέασε σημαντικά την εκκλησιαστική αργυροχρυσοχοΐα κατά τον 16ο και 17ο αιώνα. Τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά του αποτελούν τα περιπλεκόμενα γεωμετρικά και φυτικά θέματα και η διάταξη των χρωματισμένων πετρών από υαλόμαζα. Ο κάλυκας φέρει απεικονίσεις προφητών, που τονίζονται με τη χρήση νιέλλο (πρόκειται για μαύρο μεταλλικό κράμα χρυσοχοΐας που χρησιμοποιείται για την επιφανειακή διακόσμηση των μετάλλων).
