Chandrashekara stands on a lotus pedestal, which is mounted on a square base. The figure has four arms which bifurcate at the shoulders. In the upper right hand he holds a parasu (axe), in the upper left ─ a mriga (antelope). The lower right hand is in abhaya -mudra and the lower left in varada. The hair is tied high with the siras-chakra behind the head. The figure is ornamented with a coronet featuring a crest and a fillet (karanda-mukuta) and a flower decked on either side above the ears.
