  • Artist's Biography: Chan began to paint in his forties. He completed a certificate course in Art and Design at the Department of Extramural Studies of The University of Hong Kong between 1968 and 1970. He was a co-founder of the Hong Kong Visual Arts Society in the 1970s, the Culture Corner Art Academy in 1989, and the Artmatch Group in 1995. He has been a Museum Expert Adviser to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, HKSAR since 1993.
