Chasuble said of Saint Bernardo

17th - 18th Century

Among the supply, a main point of interest is the chasuble in white satin with polycrome threads in silk, gold and silver; the front represents Saint Benedict half reclined between figures of bishops of the order, positioned as in a family tree. The entire supply is due to the exquisite talent of the nuns of the Cistertian monastery of San Bernardo in Fidenza, who spent 43 years in completing it.
