Child's head

This sculpture seems to express a psychological continuum with the boy’s head made in 1931 presenting similar sharp and elegant facial features. Compared to his earlier work, this sculpture’s features are characterized by a seemingly sweeter vision being at the same time still composed and serious in its ensamble. This artwork perfectly portrays the becoming of adolescence, mixing melancholy and the openness towards life to the traits of a premature moral firmness.
