Cimicifuga simpiexis a species of flowering plant in the buttercup family. It is a an attractive perennial from colder parts of Mongolia, Japan, Korea, and Russia (Kamchatka, Sakhlain, Siberia). This plant prefers partially shaded locations or places under the trees with limited sunlight. Small, numerous, creamy white, strongly fragrant flowers appear in late summer to early fall in long, terminal racemes resembling fluffy spires rising above the foliage on upright, wiry stems.
