Circular directive issued by Emmeline Pankhurst to WSPU members on October 16th 1912. Typed on letterhead from WSPU Lincoln's Inn headquarters the circular outlines the circumstances of ceasing the assocation between 'those who remain in controle of the WSPU and Fred and Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence'.
The circular cites the reason for the split in the WSPU in 1912 'owing to contrary views concerning the policy of the Union' The Circular also announces the first issue of the new The Suffragette newspaper on Friday October 18th, this now to be the 'official organ of the WSPU'. A subscription form for the newspaper is also attached to the circular.
