Collar of fine muslin embroidered with white cotton in overcast and padded satin stitches with pulled fabric filling stitches. It shows a pattern of sprig motifs in shapes of diamonds, stars, leaves, berries and a variety of flowers.

The collar joins edge to edge down the front, falling in a long point to the waist, and has wide points over the shoulders and down the back. The high, round neck has pieces of net attached to it.
