This is a collection of codes encompassing all the legislations and ordinances from the Reforms of 1894 at the end of Joseon Dynasty, the 31st year of King Gojong’s reign, to 1908, the start of the Korean Empire (2nd year of Yunghee, “Prosperous Brilliance”). Written in Korean and Chinese, its significance is that all the legislations and ordinances was compiled in the middle of the tumultuous circumstances of that time.
