Collector's coin commemorating the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Polish Museum in Rapperswil, with a nominal value of PLN 10. The obverse shows the image of the eagle established as the State Emblem of the Republic of Poland. On the left, a stylised image of a fragment of the Rapperswil Castle is shown, on the right-hand side a stylised image of a fragment of the Royal Castle in Warszawa. At the top, an inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA / POLSKA / ROK 2000, below the inscription: PLN 10. The Mint's mark under the Eagle's left leg: MW.
On the reverse, there is a fragment of the Bar Column with the upper part of the shaft, a head, a ball and an eagle. Its supplemented with the following inscriptions: MUZEUM POLSKIE W RAPPERSWILU; MAGNA / RES / LIBERTAS (motto of the Rapperswil branch) and dates: 1870 / 2000.
The coin was put into circulation on 18 October 2000 by the National Bank of Poland (NBP).
