This painting by Stanisław Borysowski is an abstract composition in a homogeneous colour range with dominant shades of grey, varied here and there by intense blues/azures, violets and greens. The pictorial field is filled with an organic structure of a rich multilayer texture that came out of multiple layers of oil paint briskly put on canvas. Some oblong forms emerge on it, converging or freely dispersed like cracks on the surface of the painting. These spontaneous traces that bring to mind the dynamics of destruction processes, such as erosion or corrosion, seem to show a tendency towards radial dispersion to the outside of the painting frame. [F. Pregowski]
