A World Heritage site, the 6th-century Church of the Holy Cross at Jvari Monastery is an outstanding example of medieval ecclesiastical architecture in the Caucasus and a testament to the high level of artistic and cultural sophistication of the Kingdom of Georgia. This AFCP project involved the documentation of the main church, and the development and implementation of a conservation plan.
